Kartik Mahotsav 2026
Kartikotsava of Shri Yalguresh( of the famous Yalgur of Vijayapura district), who is the lord of seven villages,
who crosses seven seas to provide his ashirwaad to his bhaktas, will begin on Saturday (date 7-Feb-2026).
Preparations are in full swing for the Kartik Utsav 2026.
Devotees are welcome to come and enjoy the festival
Spot donations are accepted.
Schedule for the program is as follows
7th February 2026
In the early morning, Panchamrut Abhishek
This will be followed by Pavamaan Homa
After that, Mahapooja will be performed
Tirtha Prasad will be served to all the devotees
Kartik Utsav will be celebrated by lighting up the temple with the help of deepas in the evening.
8th February 2026
Pallaki Seve in the morning
Dasoha and nirantar daasvani.
Dasoha will be followed by Mahapooja and Teerth Prasad
Special programmes to be held on 8-Feb-2026:
Flute Seva by Praveen Godkhindi and Shadja Godkhindi
Tabla Seva by Ravindra Yavagal
Sangeet Seva by Jayteerth Mevundi, Sangeeta Katti and other singers
Rathotsava will be held in the evening.
Whand Pooje , which is always the grand attraction of the Kartik Mahotsav, will be at 8 pm
It is one of the most joyous moments of the Kartik Mahotsav
Those who have never seen the Whand Pooje,please do not miss the opportunity this year
It will be followed by Mahamangalaarti and Pallaki Seve.
